Tony Swatton, the master blacksmith behind several of Hook’s most iconic props, recently opened the doors of his workshop, The Sword and the Stone, to Adam Savage for an episode of Tested.

During the visit, Savage takes a closer look at several pieces created for Steven Spielberg’s film, including Captain Hook’s famous hook, Peter Pan’s sword, and the Ransom Note Dagger representing the Jolly Roger.

These props became an important part of Hook’s visual identity. The hook itself is especially significant. It defines Captain Hook as a character, gives the film its title, and became one of the movie’s most recognizable symbols, appearing prominently across its promotional artwork.
